The Sun Bash Tournament Coverage Overview

The Sun Bash Tournament (Powered by The Hoop Vibe) press credentials are granted to credible media representatives who have shown evidence that their attendance and/or coverage results in the elevation, promotion, and exposure of the student-athletes who play in The Hoop Vibe events.

Media credentials will be thoroughly reviewed for approvals, and monitored to ensure guidelines are being followed at all Sun Bash Tournament events. We thank you for the support and coverage of Sun Bash Tournament events and players.

Videography

Videography must be conducted without disruption to event operations that include, but are not limited to: the visibility of college coaches who are sitting courtside, scorekeepers, security, and in high traffic areas that become congested, or areas that may be deemed as a safety concern.

Filming locations will be defined for each event and communicated in advance by the Sun Bash Tournament staff.

Any video posted online must include The Hoop Vibe logo and be tagged to @thehoopvibe social media handle.

Photography

Photography  must  be  accompanied  by  editorial  from  a  credible  media  outlet. If approved, you  are  NOT  allowed  to  sell  photos  commercially,  online,  or through a third party website.

As a credentialed media member,  you understand  that  any  and  all  photos that  are  taken at Sun Bash Tournament events, can be used on our website, on social media, and for promotions/advertising purposes.

Editorial Content

Editorial content must be in the form of player interviews, player coverage, pre/post event coverage, or promotion of the event itself. Using Sun Bash Tournament backdrops for photo/video posts is required. 

Conclusion

The guidelines above  have  been  developed  to  provide  accredited  media members the guidance and  standards  set forth  for  Sun Bash Tournament Events. Any breach of these guidelines will be reviewed case by case and appropriate action will take place, including the withdrawal of the credential for a specific event, or any future events.

Upon arrival at media check-in, you will be asked to sign a waiver form stating that you have thoroughly read the media guidelines, understand the media guidelines, and will follow the media guidelines that have been presented.
